A man in his 20s was shot dead late Sunday night in what has become the city’s first homicide investigation of the year.
Ottawa police responded to Yule Manor Co-Operative Homes at 10 Claremont Dr., near St. Laurent Boulevard and Hemlock Road, at 10:39 p.m. Sunday for what was originally reported as a shooting. When first responders arrived, they found a male victim without vital signs.
Sunday’s shooting was the fourth of the year.
The homicide squad continues to investigate.
