A 30-year-old man is dead after his car left Highway 138 and crashed into a hydro pole in Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry County.
Ontario Provincial Police said the North Stormont Township man was driving northbound on Hwy. 138 south of McNeil Road when his Jeep left the highway and hit the pole at about 7:42 a.m. The driver, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said it was not immediately clear why the Jeep went off the road.
