A man in his late 70s is in serious condition in hospital after being struck by a car Monday morning in Ottawa’s west end.
The collision took place at about 10:30 a.m. at the intersection of Carling and Edgeworth avenues. The man, suffered serious head, leg and shoulder injuries, Ottawa paramedics said.
The man was left unconscious by the impact but had regained consciousness when paramedics arrived at the scene.
