Ottawa police are offering only a skimpy description of a man sought for an assault at a popular ByWard Market strip club.
According to police, a group of males engaged in a dispute with another male in his 30s at the Bare Fax shortly after midnight on Sunday, Jan. 31. The man was assaulted by the group and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to hospital and has since been released.
Police are looking to speak to witnesses and, in particular, are seeking to identify one member of the group who is described as a white male, five-foot-eight to five-foot-nine (173 to 175 centimetres) with dark short hair.
Anyone with information is asked to call investigators at 613-236-1222, ext. 5166, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
