Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in locating a suspect in conection with the beating of a taxi driver in June, 2015.
The attack occurred near the intersection of Elgin and Gloucester streets.
Farouk Timballa, 27, is described as black, about six-feet (183cm) tall, 240 pounds (108 kg), with a muscular build, short black hair, unshaven, brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Timballa’s whereabouts is asked to call Sgt. Anthony Costantini at the central district investigation unit, 613-236-1222, ext. 5635. Anonymous tips can be made at Crime Stoppers, 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or on the Ottawa police app.
