Ottawa's storm helpers, snow heroes and just good neighbours

We coped, we managed, we helped each other.

Here in Ottawa, everyone is digging out from under a record-breaking blast of snow.


Jarren Miehm helps out an Ottawa Community Housing van stuck in a roadway off Ritchie Street on Tuesday.


Altogether, we’re sure there were thousands of random acts of kindness on our streets, and we want to share some of them right here. Sometimes it was a stranger, sometimes it was a next-door neighbour.
