The victim of Ottawa’s third homicide of the year has been identified by police as Mohamed Ali Hassan, 19. They say he was stabbed in an Overbrook park Monday night and died after being transported to hospital.
Police believe an altercation led to the fatal stabbing in Lawson Park near King George Street. No suspects are in custody.
The homicide unit continues to investigate.
Emergency services called at 9:30 p.m. last night to assist Mohamed Ali Hassan who had been stabbed and succumbed to his injuries.
