The Ottawa police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 14-year-old Walter Hikolak, who has been missing since Feb. 21.
The Ottawa teenager was last seen that afternoon at the Rideau Centre. He is described as aboriginal, 5-foot-5 (165 cm), 119 pounds (54 kg), medium build with brown eyes, brown hair and a darker skin tone.
Anyone who knows where Hikolak is was asked to immediately contact Ottawa police dispatch at 613-230-6211. Those with other information that could assist investigators should call the missing persons unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2355, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., daily.
Anonymous tips can be submitted by calling Crime Stoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or by downloading the Ottawa police app.
