Ottawa emergency crews remain on the scene of a fire on Hiram Drive in Greely Thursday morning.
According to fire officials, the fire, which was called in around 7:45 a.m., is at a commercial building located on the road. Smoke and flames were visible from the outside of the building when crews first arrived, however the fire has been mostly extinguished and crews have now entered the building.
Heavy smoke conditions have been reported as far away as Parkway and McKeown drives.
Crews are still working on the street. No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
