A couple of dozen top surfers from Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto braved less-than-Hawaiian temperatures Saturday for the city’s inaugural “Surf Jam” at Bate Island.
After the qualifying heats, David Crichton took the prize for best overall and best trick (a 360-degree spin).
