Ottawa – The Pretoria Bridge, connecting the Queen Elizabeth Driveway with Colonel By Drive, will be closed to vehicular traffic on Sunday, May 1, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for spring maintenance work. Cyclist and pedestrian traffic will still be able to use the bridge but may experience some delays as work is completed on various sections.
The City of Ottawa is undertaking this work as part of its regular spring preparatory maintenance.
The Pretoria Bridge is located along the Rideau Canal and is a unique historical landmark for the nation’s capital.
