A seven-year-old boy died Sunday after an accident involving a vehicle outside of a home in Cantley, regional police said.
The MRC de Outaouais police were called to a private residence at about 11:30 a.m. and found that an accident had happened while a family was outside of a residence. In a news release, they said a vehicle had moved suddenly, hitting the boy.
The child was transported to a Gatineau hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A police investigation is underway into the cause of the accident.
