The Ottawa police guns and gangs unit is probing a shooting early Tuesday that damaged a Greenboro-area home. It’s the 21st shooting in Ottawa this year.
No one was injured in the incident on Somero Private but officers responding at about 1:15 a.m. to the report of shots fired found several shell casings along with evidence some rounds had struck the dwelling.
Anyone with information is asked to call (613) 236-1222 ext. 5050 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
