Speak Chinese doesn't mean he is a Chinese, If you see someone doing the wrong thing, and the first image is he is or is not a Chinese, that is a mental problem. If you didn't check his passport and claim the bad guy is a Chinese, you are hurting all Chinese, including me, that's why I am shame on you.
Here in Ottawa, most bad things are done by local residents rather than visitors. Whatever they looked like, what language they speaking, what race they belong to, that doesn't matter, to me, they are just local residents.
Lot's Canadian here, they speak Chinese mostly, and their English and French are very poor. They beat Chinese people in all possible ways, But they owned a CA passport. They hate Chinese just because in their mind, there is still a question: look those guy in yellow skin, black hair, black eye , and come from China, can a local person distinguish me from them..., In fact they are just hating themselvies or in other words their parents!
A real story, last year a Chinese girl(because she still owning a Chinese passport and in a PR-ship here) proudly told me she would marry a "Canadian", and ask me am I surprised. When I asked her the question why, she said "He is a Canadian", seeing me not suprise at all, she speak directly "a White". I lough that for days.
Most people here are Canadian(wheather a PR or a citizen, offically), "Chinese Canadian", "European Candian", "Indian Ca...", "Iron Ca..." are all in the same group. I loughed her just because she didn't know how to respect hershelf, and potencially she want to hurt others(in her mind those immgrants from China can not be claimed as a Canadian, I just can not understand what makes her think those European immgrants are default Canadian), The name of Canada is come from the original Indians, they come from Asia/China area thousands of years ago(in local text history book), American is "found" by them not by a Euro guy, when somebody talking "found the new land", do they think the original people are human beings?)

I say the cheat is Chinese because he speaks not only lousy English but Chinese, anything wrong with my reminding others not to be cheated? I just don't think so.
I don't know what bothers you to make you say to me"Shame on me", you sounded like a saint when you said you would like to help anyone who needs change, even though some of them are cheats, I admire you for your tolerance. And I would admire you more if you could show the same tolerance and repect to those who helps people as you did to those who cheat.
"Shame on me"? no! "people die of shame", I never feel ashamed.
