Apparently being at the epicentre of Bieber Fever works up a mighty thirst.
Canadian pop star/bad boy/heartthrob Justin Bieber was spotted strolling around the ByWard Market Thursday — on the eve of his Purpose World Tour touching down at Canadian Tire Centre Friday — triggering an inevitable social media explosion.
BIEBER IS IN THE MARKET. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. WHY AM I NOT IN THE MARKET.

Fans snapped photos of Bieber walking out of a downtown Tim Hortons, sipping one of the chain’s signature ice capps and wearing the baggy one-armed denim overalls that earned him some scorn when he wore the same getup to a meeting with former prime minister Stephen Harper.

Fans gushed on social media about their brush with pop royalty.
One user named Katie tweeted — in all-caps — that “Justin Bieber just walked past my restaurant and I am dying and now he’s gone forever OMG,” followed by a string of appropriately heartbroken emojis.
Not everyone was impressed by the Biebs, though.
Bieber apparently stopped in at famed market watering hole Chateau Lafayette for a beer Thursday afternoon.
Operations manager Deek Labelle said Bieber walked in and took a seat — wearing his overalls and long-sleeved white shirt — and had his handler order him a beer. A Bud Light.
“(His handler) didn’t even tip his server,” said Labelle. “I thought everybody knew that’s common practice. I was kinda surprised.”
.@justinbieber just stopped by the Laff for a beer! Guess no one told his "people" to tip their server! #welcomebacktoCanada #tipyourserver

Labelle said bar staff sent out a tweet making light of the snub.
“Twitter is blowing up,” she said.
3 years later Justin Bieber is back in Ottawa and he's still wearing overalls! pic.twitter.com/butZYWWMlp
