The Ontario Provincial Police are asking for the public’s assistance to identify anyone who may have been involved in a robbery at Bennett’s Bait and Tackle Shop on Highway 15 early Wednesday morning.
Police said the robbers broke into the store, just outside of Smiths Falls, at around 2 a.m. and stole several firearms stored inside the shop.
The OPP would not release any specific details about the firearms.
Police ask anyone with information about the robbery to call Leeds County OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or the Brockville detachment at 613-345-1790.
