Beyond the Pale Brewing Co. is offering free beer to anyone who finds a delivery van that was stolen from the Hintonberg brewer early Thursday.
According to a Facebook post by the brewer, the thief or thieves broke into the premises at 5 Hamilton Ave. overnight and stole a number of items, including the brewer’s delivery van, which is heavily clad in Beyond The Pale logos and is easy to identify.
“It is with heavy hearts we report today that some lowlife, scumbag broke into BTP in the wee hours of the morning, and made off with, among other things, our beloved rocket van. Ipads? Money? Beer? Fine. But the van?… we’re clearly dealing with a real intellectual here,” reads the Facebook post, while adding fans to keep their eyes open and offering free beer to anyone that helps get the van back to the brewery.
Police have confirmed that a break-in occurred early this morning but will not release any further details.
