A motorcyclist is in hospital, but his bike took the main impact of a collision with a car at Richmond Road and Croydon Avenue early Sunday.
Paramedics responded to the crash at 1:15 a.m., and discovered the 52-year-old man has been ejected from his motorcycle when a car collided with him.
He suffered “head, neck and extremity trauma,” while his bike was obliterated from the wreck.
The man received treatment for his injuries en route to the Ottawa Hospital trauma centre, and was in stable condition upon arrival at hospital.
Police are investigating.
