这种要求投资的方式还是第一次见。就说这50k投资的担保金，如果谈了发现不感兴趣或者觉得不靠谱，这50k的担保金是不退了还是怎么的？项目都不知道，如何知道是否有real interest?

Thanks for the input, yes the fact is sales record, clients info, business name, tax, and IT related business. $50k is just the deposit for knowing the detail of the business, the whole amount of the project and business would be a lot more. With down payment, if you say I don't like it and walk away, no refund as who knows you will do the same business later on as we all know our Chinese fellow folks are not creative but very good at copy. The owner is selling the successful business idea for $50k, copy the idea for free with deposit. The established project and business is another part of the deal, which is negotiable.

Btw, it would be cool if simply posting here will have clients and business.

all steps, processes will go thru a lawyer, the deposit will be held on the lawyers trusted account. Party A and Party B sign a contract before proceeding. full refund will be made on any of the following occurs.
1. Failed to provide business income record(bank record), or the business income is much lower than what is described.
2. Failed to provide Client info.
3. Failed to provide Business Tax Returns.
4. Non I.T. related business, or the business is illegal.

Party A and Party B share the legal cost.

I hope your found the points I described below constructive, not offensive.

Point 1) "Business income is much lower than what is described", did you describe your "business income" anywhere in this thread? I don't see it, maybe I missed.
Point 1) "Much lower than what is described", what is the definition of 'much lower'? this term cannot be vague.
Combining 3 points above, point 1 is meaningless.

Point 2) Failed to provide client info. Also meaningless if we cannot VERIFY client info. How to verify, that's later in the game.

Point 3) Failed to provide Business Tax Returns. Also meaningless when we do not know the validity of point 1 and 2 above. Some companies "willing to" make some winnings for a few years, to attract investors.

Point 4) Meaningless if point 1,2 &3 above are false.

I understand companies are very worrisome about their idea got copied or stolen. At the same time, without any disclosure and asking for a hefty deposit just to listen to some, to me, meaningless points. Doesn't click.

没有冒犯的意思，不过在这发帖确实没什么意义。楼主担心被别人窃取idea, 难道大家就不担心遇到骗子么？每个人都期望自己的利益最大化，这很正常，但是这最终的结果就是囚徒困境。寻找投资，拿不出点诚意来，基本…呵呵

Thanks for advise, but don't think it is a good idea to have a business lawyer before marketing, anyway the business lawyer has started working on it as there are people interested.
