Emergency personnel were called to free a 26-year-old man whose legs were trapped in the gears of heavy machinery in a Gatineau work accident Wednesday.
The incident occurred at 6:45 a.m. at an unidientified company at 1652 Jean-Louis Malette St. in Gatineau’s east end.
Police and co-workers were able to free the man, who was taken to hospital.
Investigators said the incident looks to be due to “human error,” but the investigation continues.
