Firefighters are tackling a dramatic fire in Kanata afternoon after several callers reported billowing black smoke and shooting flames.
The blaze started just before noon at 1841 Campeau Dr., in a residential neighbourhood near the Mlacak Community Centre and March Tennis Club. Firefighters quickly upgraded it to a two-alarm event as they were able to see signs of the fire while they were en route.
No injuries have been reported.
