Ottawa firefighters battled a two-alarm home fire at 6236 Paddler Way on Thursday.
Ottawa Fire Services had received calls from neighbours about black smoke coming from the rear of the house. Additional crews were called to the scene of the fire as conditions worsened, but a news release issued at 7:32 p.m. stated an “under control” message had been broadcast.
Crews involved in suppression operations remained at the home and a fire investigator was en route.
No injuries were reported.
