An investigation is underway to determine the cause of a fire late Tuesday in a vacant home on Falaise Road near the Experimental Farm.
Ottawa firefighters were called to 1085 Falaise Rd., in the Carleton Heights neighbourhood, at about 11 p.m.
When they arrived there were flames shooting from the roof of the single-family home, with heavy smoke.
The fire was brought under control within an hour. There were no injuries.
There was no estimate on the cost of damages.
