A 21-year-old man is facing two charges after a woman was stabbed near Place d’Orléans on Saturday night.
Ottawa Police have confirmed that the woman, 27, was taken to hospital with injuries the Ottawa paramedics described as serious. Police did not provide details as to her condition Sunday morning.
The man, who has not been identified, was arrested close to where the incident took place, police said. He was charged with assault causing bodily harm and one count of assault with a weapon.
