Ottawa firefighters made quick work of a smoky kitchen fire in an east-end home Tuesday morning.
Crews were called to 217 Fountainhead Dr. at about 11 a.m. and were greeted by heavy smoke pouring from the two-storey detached home.
The residents had already fled the structure and firefighters reported the fire under control at 11:17 a.m.
There were no injuries.
There was no immediate cause established for the fire and an investigator was called.
There was no damage estimate released.
