Ottawa police are seeking public assistance in connection with the reported sexual assault of a woman in the Lowerton district early Wednesday.
A woman reported to police she was attacked by a stranger on Clarence Street, near Nelson Street.
Police described the suspect as caucasian, 25-40 years old, with a medium build and a shaved head. At the time of the attack he was wearing a green T-shirt with large white letters, dark three-quarter length pants, brown boots and was carrying a blue shoulder bag.
Anyone with information is asked to call Ottawa police at 613-236-1222, ext. 5366. Anonymous tips can be given to Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 (TIPS) or toll-free at 1-800-222-8477.
