An elderly woman is in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car Thursday morning.
The 91 year old was reportedly crossing the street at the intersection of Belcourt and St. Joseph boulevards when the car struck her.
The Ottawa Paramedic Service received a call at 9:51 a.m. and treated the victim at the scene for head and shoulder injuries before transporting her to hospital.
The Ottawa Police Service is investigating the incident.
