A three-year-old boy was in serious but stable condition Saturday afternoon after a minivan rolled over on Highway 417 eastbound between Woodroffe and Maitland avenues.
Paramedics received the call shortly after 4 p.m. After arriving on scene, paramedics treated the boy for head and spinal injuries before transporting him to hospital.
Paramedics issued a reminder to parents to ensure they have a properly restrained car seat in their vehicles.
Ontario Provincial Police are investigating.
