Ottawa – At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, officials of the City of Ottawa including Mayor Jim Watson, and management of the Ottawa Champions baseball team, will join the late broadcaster Max Keeping’s family on the pitcher’s mound at RCGT Park for a special ceremony to commemoratively name the pedestrian and cycling bridge that spans Highway 417 at the baseball stadium the Max Keeping Bridge.


Remembering Mr. Keeping’s legacy of generosity to Ottawa’s most vulnerable children and youth, the Champions will donate $1 to CHEO from the purchase of each ticket to the game that is bought in advance.
