An Ottawa man lost his wheels and license for a week Sunday after being clocked going 157 km/h on Highway 401 near Prescott.
The Nissan Altima was stopped by a Grenville County OPP officer who was out monitoring traffic near Merwin Lane in Augusta Township at 2:23 a.m.
Adel Alenezi, 24, was charged with stunt driving. He was issued a seven-day driver’s licence suspension and his car was towed and impounded for seven days.
He was released and issued a summons to appear in court in Brockville on Aug. 24.
