A man in his early 20s was was struck by a car just south of the Queensway Wednesday afternoon.
Paramedics said the incident happened at the intersection of the Pretoria Bridge and Queen Elizabeth Driveway at about 3:30 p.m. The man was thrown in the impact, but was remained conscious.
He sustained injuries to his back and legs and was sent to the Civic campus of The Ottawa Hospital in stable condition.
