Ongoing: Police evacuate homes in Carleton Place over possible bomb threat

A major police operation is underway in Carleton Place, with residents saying there is a bomb threat centred around a laundromat on High Street.

Multiple streets are closed and homes are being evacuated in the area.

Little information has been released by Ontario Provincial Police so far. This post will be updated as the story develops.
