Conditions couldn’t have been better on Saturday as those in the National Capital Region got out to enjoy the beginning of the unofficial end to summer.
The skies were clear and temperatures reached a comfortable 23 C in the Ottawa area on the first full day of Labour Day Weekend.
And it looks like there will be more of the same for the remainder of the long weekend, with the forecast calling for a high of 27 on Sunday and 28 on Monday, with nothing but blue skies.
The overnight lows for Saturday and Sunday nights were expected to be 9 and 10, respectively.
