Gatineau police are investigating an apparent attempted break-in at a Buckingham financial institution Friday morning.
Patrol officers responded to an alarm at 136 Lepine Ave. shortly before 8 a.m. and found the bank’s entry had been damaged.
Preliminary investigation indicates two people managed to get into the establishment, but fled when the alarm went off.
There was no immediate report of any theft.
