Ottawa police are searching for a man connected to a theft and a break-and-enter in the Vanier neighbourhood Aug. 28.
That night, a man committed a theft at Eddy’s Quick Lunch at 179 Montreal Rd., then proceeded to break in to The Vanier Grill at 159 Montreal Rd.
Police are hoping the public can help them to identify the man. He is described as tanned, in his late 20s or early 30s, with stocky build. The man was bald and had a beard. He was wearing a dark T-shirt with an AC/DC logo on the front, shorts and sandals.
Police are hoping the public can help them to identify the suspecte in two east-side break-ins on Aug. 28.
The man left on a bicycle.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Det. Shane Henderson with the break and enter unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 4533.
