Gatineau police are investigating the “suspicious” death of a man found at a home in the city’s Riverains neighbourhood in old Gatineau late Thursday.
According to police, callers reported an incident at 5 Lina St. at around 11:30 p.m.
When police arrived they found the unconscious victim and called paramedics. The man was pronounced dead at hospital.
Two men were detained at the scene as “important” witnesses. One was later released, while the other remained in custody Friday morning.
Charges have not yet been laid.
