The Sûreté du Québec say the death of a 47-year-old man Sunday is being treated as suspicious.
The man was found alive but badly injured underneath a car in the driveway of a home on Mountain Road, police said. He was pronounced dead in hospital.
A second vehicle in the same driveway had been burned.
An autopsy was scheduled for Monday.
Police have not publicly identified the man or said how he became trapped under the car.
Mountain Road is west of Saint-Pierre-de-Wakefield.
