A 26-year-old woman died after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of West Hunt Club Road and Sunderland Street on Friday night.
Ottawa paramedics responded to the call at 9:05 and, upon arrival on scene, found the pedestrian without vital signs.
The Ottawa police were investigating.
The east and westbound lanes of West Hunt Club Road from Merivale Road to the 300 block area of West Hunt Club remained closed late Friday night.
The public was asked to avoid the area.
