An Ottawa man has been released without being charged after he was arrested following a shooting on Altha Avenue late Saturday night, police said in a news release Sunday.
Ottawa police questioned and arrested the man after responding to a call of shots being fired on Altha at about 9:37 p.m. Saturday.

A man who lived in the area said shots were fired at him after he witnessed a drug deal involving two men behind an apartment building in Vanier, police said. “No one was injured.”
