An electrician suffered first-degree burns on both hands after he was hit by an electrical flash at an Elgin Street jobsite Thursday morning.
Calls came in for medical assistance around 5:29 a.m. reporting a 39-year-old man had been badly burned.
Ottawa police are investigating the cause of the flash.
The man was in stable condition when he arrived at hospital.
