A 19-year-old man suffered serious head injuries Tuesday morning when he was struck by a car near the intersection of Gladstone Avenue and Rochester Street.
Paramedics and firefighters were able to stabilize the man and transport him to hospital around 11:30 a.m.
He arrived at hospital in serious but stable condition.
A police investigation into the accident is ongoing.
