Hours later, but the next day, a robber with what looked like a handgun hit another motel on the 200 block of Hearst Way in Kanata. He fled with an undisclosed quantity of money.
The first bank robbery occurred Sept. 29, when a man wearing a disguise entered a bank in the 700 block of Baseline Road, brandishing what appeared to be a handgun. He fled with an undisclosed amont of cash.
On Oct. 7, a man pulled a gun in a bank on Terry Fox Drive, near Campeau Drive, carrying what appeared to be a handgun. He fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
