An investigation continues after the lifeless body of a woman was pulled from the Ottawa River Saturday morning.
Ottawa fire crews received a call of a body in the water near Brittania Beach at 9:11 a.m.
Crews quickly spotted the victim and had her ashore by 9:23 a.m.
Fire service responders and Ottawa paramedics began CPR immediately as the woman showed no signs of life.
Paramedics said the victim still had no vital signs when she arrived at hospital.
