Area police forces continue to urge drivers to slow down and adjust their driving as winter weather blows in and out of the nation’s capital.

Slick road conditions were blamed for a multiple car pile-up at about 8 a.m. on Roger Stevens Road out near the boundary with Smiths Falls which saw several cars end up in a ditch.

There were no serious injuries reported in the crash.

Ottawa police tweeted a caution to drivers just before 8 a.m.
