Anyone headed west on Highway 417 this weekend should know they’ll face a slight detour at March Road.
As of Friday night at 8, the westbound lanes at March (Almonte/Carp) were closed due to highway construction work. The lanes are to reopen by noon Monday.
Westbound traffic will be required to take the westbound off-ramp at March and return to the 417 at the March on-ramp.
The following weekend, all eastbound lanes of the 417 will face a similar detour route at March, beginning at noon on Friday and continuing until Monday at 5 a.m.
