A Quebec airline has announced two daily weekday flights between Gatineau and Quebec City, beginning Jan. 30.
Quebec City-based Air Liaison, which serves about a dozen municipalities in Quebec, will use small prop planes for the 50-minute flight to Jean Lesage International Airport.
Gatineau departures will be at 6:40 a.m. and 4:40 p.m., while Quebec City flights to Gatineau will be at 7:55 a.m. and 5:50 p.m.
A round trip is expected to cost around $540 once taxes have been factored in.
The Gatineau Executive Airport has not had regularly scheduled passenger service for about 19 months.
