New pedestrian crossovers will open along the Queen Elizabeth Driveway

Ottawa – Mayor Jim Watson, The Honourable Catherine McKenna, MP for Ottawa Centre and Minister of Environment and Climate Change, on behalf of the Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, The Honourable Yasir Naqvi, Attorney General and Member of Provincial Parliament, Ottawa Centre; and Russell Mills, Chair of the National Capital Commission Board of Directors, will participate in a photo opportunity to recognize the opening of two new pedestrian crossovers along the Queen Elizabeth Driveway.

Installation of these pedestrian crossovers is the first project completed in Ottawa under the Government of Canada’s Public Transit Infrastructure Fund.

Date: Thursday, December 22

Time: 9 a.m.

Place: Intersection of the Queen Elizabeth Driveway and Queen Elizabeth Place

(South side of the Bank Street Bridge)
