A 24-year-old Ottawa man was arrested and charged with impaired driving a day after Boxing Day, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
Steve Von Deschwanden was stopped by police after he was allegedly seen speeding on John Street in the township of Madawaska Valley, west of Ottawa, on Dec. 27 around 12:10 a.m.
The young man was released on a promise to appear in a Killaloe court.
His vehicle was towed and his licence was suspended.
