Wintry weather has caused power outages in several areas of the city Tuesday evening, according to Hydro Ottawa.
Nearly 800 customers are in the dark in the Merivale, Westboro, and Alta Vista areas. Of the affected customers, most – 416 – are in Alta Vista. The lights aren’t expected to come back on for some of those customers until after midnight, according to Hydro Ottawa.
