It was a nasty weekend in some parts of the province, with very cold weather and icy conditions causing collisions on the highways.
It was particularly bad in the stretch of the 401 just east of Oshawa, where a massive pileup on Saturday was filmed from a bridge.
The full pileup eventually involved around 100 vehicles, police said, and the highway was closed for nearly ten hours. Miraculously, there were no serious injuries.

The weather is set to get bad again this week, with a snowstorm moving into the region on Tuesday.
